Disneyland Resort  Celebrates Disneyland's 50th Anniversary

On July 17, 2005 Disneyland Celebrated its 50th Anniversary. This celebration kicked off May 5,2005 (Well May 4th was the press/preview day at Disneyland) and ran through September 30, 2006 (with some things such as the Parade of Dreams, Block Party Bash, and the 50 Magical Years going into 2008). In this section we take a look at the festivities, special events, and more.

 
Golden Ride Vehicles
For the 50th, ride vehicles of the original 1955 attractions were painted gold.
Happiest Faces on Earth - Photo mosaics
These large photo collages are placed around both parks. In this section we take a look at them as you would encounter them walking the park.

Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams
Kicking off May 5, 2005 this new parade runs daily at Disneyland through the 50th celebration.
